Self made wood guitar pick

My guitar pick made from beech wood

The beech wood 10 x 30 mm a bought form home depot. First I hade to mark the length of 40 mm:

With a spoke shave I cut an angle on both sides to get a wedge shape:

To get a good grip I rasp a groove for the finger on both sides:

With my circular saw I cut the peace to length:

In my vice I give the pick his final shape:
